What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically, we will come out and offer our free property inspection first to see how everything looks. (Relating to age, wear and tear, wind damage missing shingles, possible hail damage.).
After we come out and assess the situation and find the best route to take, we go onward into the process, whether that be repairs, insurance claim for storm damage, or estimate of full replacement.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is very competitive in the Hamilton County Market. Typically, we will come out and offer our free property inspection first to see how everything looks. (Relating to age, wear and tear, wind damage missing shingles, possible hail damage.).

We here at Blue Ladder Roofing will always let you know what we find after our inspection with either a video inspection or pictures. If it is an Insurance Claim and it is approved by your provider, we work directly off of the Insurance Proceeds with the out of pocket being a deductible. If it is retail, we will give you our best price based on the complexity of the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As the Owner, I have spent roughly six months installing commercial roofing projects. I have also spent several years in the Hamilton County area, such as Noblesville, Carmel, Westfield, McCordsville, and Fishers, providing property inspections and replacing roofing projects weather it be from storm damage or retail projects alike.

This relates to what you may be looking for because I have met with most adjusters in the area. For your property, if not storm damaged, I am able to still show my knowledge on what may be wrong on the property and get the project taken care of.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started in the industry almost immediately out of High-School. I married my High-School sweetheart and got into the commercial space as a laborer and grew my knowledge from there.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A recent project that I have just recently completed was a 60sq Cedar Shake roof replacement. It took almost ten months to get everything finalized by the insurance carrier. I was able to get it completely replaced due to wind damage and missing shake on multiple slopes as well as hail damage on the copper valleys as well. With the combination of both wind damage and hail, as well as non-repairability, we got the full roof taken care of!
The entire project took four days of complete tear-off and replacement. A typical roof replacement, tear off, and install typically takes one business day. However, this project had multiple reasons for the delayed process, including weather, and each individual shake has to be hand nailed as well as fit in place like a puzzle.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I worked with every type of customer, whether that pertains to a Homeowner, Landlord, Realtor, Insurance Broker, Prior Adjuster(homeowner).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would take a look at prior pictures and see what types of work they have been able to perform, as well as reviews.
